CHRIS HUTCHINSON

Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist

Chris is an APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist, having completed a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy and holding additional university qualifications in Biomedical and Health Sciences.


Chris is in his 20th year as a Physiotherapist and has had the fantastic opportunity to work within elite Sports teams for the majority of his career. He has spent the past 17 seasons working directly as a Physiotherapist with Perth Glory Football Club including assuming the Head Physiotherapist role for more than a decade over that time. Chris remains in a part time role with the club assisting the Medical teams for the A-League; A-League Womens; and Perth Glory Academy squads.


Chris believes that at PURE SPORTS PHYSIO, high performance healthcare should be available to everybody and is excited to bring all of his experience to to assist you with your injury management; rehabilitation and performance health needs.


Chris understands the demands of returning individuals back to their full capacity in an expedient manner in a high pressured setting. Alongside his work with sporting teams, Chris has also worked in a large multidisciplinary Sports Medicine Clinics in Subiaco and was previously based in Leederville where he practiced under the clinical banner of CH Physio.


Chris knows the corporate environment having worked within a clinic in the Perth CBD for a number of years. His work in the city included administering postural and ergonomic assessments on office workers and mine site assessments for corporate health clients.


Chris shares his Physiotherapy exeperience by acting as a Clinical Supervisor for Sports Physiotherapy students from Curtin and La Trobe Universities as they work towards their post graduate Masters qualifications.
